Where to buy?

Medical Books are sold in two bookstores in campus, located in front of Pizza Inn. Although virtually all medical books can be obtained from these two bookstores, you can buy books from anywhere you want.

Options Available

You will find for every given subject, a varying number of options available for purchase. Ranging from books authored by Ain Shams faculty members, by staff of other faculties, or by foreign medical professionals. You might get confused in the beginning about which books to buy, since there is no 'fixed' syllabus. Make sure you ask a lot of people and see the books before you make your final decision. Keep in mind that every different individual may feel comfortable with a different book. Although most people prefer books authored by Ain Shams faculty staff, you may want to consider other books as well. Choose the best for YOU.

Textbooks

If you are looking for an Excellent grade, you may want to consider reading some textbooks. They broaden your view to the subject and increase your pool of knowledge. They will also help you afterwards: Preparing your postgraduate papers will be much easier if you are already familiar with textbooks. You can buy them or merely go to the library and read. Caution : Do NOT give textbooks more time than required!
