Are we going to dissect cadavers?

No! The dissecting kits are only used in the Physiology lab. You will dissect frogs to use their muscles and hearts for lab experiments.

Are they obligatory?

I never bought a dissecting kit. I shared my colleague's kit in lab! If you don't feel easy in 'estenta3', buy your own kit. But you will only use it a couple of times.

Alternatively, a forceps is mandatory. You use forceps a lot in anatomy, especially with fine structures as in Head & Neck. You are always advised to enter the spotting examination with a forceps in one hand, a glove in the other, and a pen. (I did buy a forceps :)

Where to buy?

Any store selling medical equipment. See stethoscope and sphygmomanometer for a list of nearby places.
