first visit to the morgue

Many people think the morgue is a scary clean place filled with ice-cold refrigerators and these refrigerators contain human cadavers. You will find the faculty morgue somewhat different from what you expected. Anyhow, you should be ready to spend long times in the morgue in the first 2 years of your medical education.

When to pay the first visit ?

Its not a bad idea to go and have a look, if you think youu're bold. If you are the light-hearted kind, you can wait until the first anatomy section, when you'll be busy trying to understand the medical knowledge and won't have time to look and think about the bodies around.

Be practical!

No one is gonna eat you, so there is nothing to fear. You may better think about and regard the significane of life.
